Our story
Caring for the elderly or individuals with disabilities goes beyond providing basic assistance—it extends into environments where services are often limited. Having worked as a caregiver for five years and as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), I’ve come to realize that elderly care should involve a structured, pre-assessed schedule that eventually becomes part of the client’s daily routine. This approach allows me to monitor not only the client’s health but also their home needs, based on a thorough assessment and the hours allocated for care.
In the past, I dreamed of opening my own home and health care agency, with a mission to train young men and women in our community on how to provide proper care for our kupuna (elders) and individuals with disabilities.
There comes a point in many adults' lives when simple daily tasks become increasingly difficult without assistance. While this shift in independence is often unwelcome, it is a reality for many seniors. For those who wish to remain in their homes, seeking help from a home and health care agency becomes an essential step to meet their needs.
Driven by this vision, I took the first steps toward making my dream a reality. I began working on establishing my own home and health care agency, collaborating with trusted individuals to bring this idea to life. To make a long story short, I founded "Rainbow Home & Health Care, Inc." in January 2019.
